Baby Carrot

Hope everyone had a great Easter. We did not get any snow at our house but it did snow south of us. Oh well, maybe we will get snow next time.

After celebrating our fourth wedding anniversary on Thursday we had another exciting weekend. Dee and Marianne (my aunt and cousin) came over on Friday and had lunch with me while Branden helped out with his parents’ boat. We had my family and extended family over on Saturday for lunch. That was fun since they had not seen the house or the baby. I think they came to see the baby not the house. Then on Sunday we were off to visit our families and celebrate Easter.

Everyone survived our first holiday and slept very well last night. I take that back some of us slept well. Branden was up with a stomach virus all night. He was suppose to go out of town this morning on business but thought better of it and stayed home. He is feeling better and if all goes well he will be leaving tomorrow morning. Teri and Abigail will be staying with me since this will be the first full week he will be gone. They will be here starting tomorrow. The baby and I have not caught whatever virus Branden has. (Knock on wood) So, wish us all a healthy vomit free week.

Well, Garrett experienced his first submerging bath today. He liked it a lot more than his sponge baths. He was having a good time until he relaxed and pooped in the water. He had a dirty diaper right before we started so I thought we were okay. Then we had to finish up in the sink, he really did not like that. So, the lesson here is make sure the baby is finished pooping BEFORE bath time. This is all a learning experience, right?
