What a Weekend

August 24th, 2008

We had a wonderful weekend! Branden finally came home from a 10 day business trip to Australia on Thursday. Garrett and I picked him up at the airport with balloons and party hats. When we walked into the airport Garrett asked if we were in Australia. I guess when you have no concept of direction it could have well been Australia. We waited for Branden at the baggage claim. When Garrett saw him walk through the doors he yelled, “Daddy!!” and he took off running toward Branden. It was the sweetest thing! He missed his Daddy so much and so did I.

On Friday, we had our Williams family inaugural flight. Garrett was very excited to get into Daddy’s Cessna 172 and to wear his headset. Garrett was not too sure of the plane at first but then he was fine and ran to the plane ready to go up. We had a very nice flight with Daddy and James up front and me and G-Man in the back looking out the windows. Garrett got a little bored during the flight, he was very relaxed and almost fell asleep. Branden is a very safe pilot but I would not expect anything different. Baby girl did well during the flight but did not like to sudden little bumps and would kick my belly. She will have to get over that since she will be up in the air with the rest of us.

After the flight, we went back home and packed the car for the lake. James joined us for a relaxing weekend at my family’s lake house. We did not do much of anything other than swimming, throwing rocks, and enjoying no distractions. It was nice to get away but I am happy to be home and get everyone back on schedule.

There are pictures up of the flight and James took a lot of pictures of G swimming. Thanks, James! There will be no comments about me in a swim suit. When you get big you don’t have many options.

While Branden was away G and I spent several days at my sister’s house. We had a great time playing with the girls and it was a nice distraction to be away from the house. One of the places we took the kids was Bouncin’ Bonanza. They had this alligator where the kids would climb in it’s mouth, slide down once inside, and then come out the alligator’s tail. It looked like it would poop out the kids. Very interesting, but the kids loved it.

School starts next week so we are going to enjoy our last week of summer.

“Mama, I have a booger.”

“Okay Garrett, I will get you a Kleenex.”

“It’s okay I wiped it on my shirt.”

Swimming Lessons

August 13th, 2008

Garrett finished up his swimming lessons today. He is a little fish! He is perfecting his form and can swim pretty far. You can tell from the pictures that his favorite thing to do is jumping into the pool. Happy swimming!

Circus Day

August 9th, 2008

We had a wonderful time at the circus last weekend. Garrett sat in his seat mesmerized with all that was going on. He was not afraid of anything, he loved it! We look forward to making this a yearly tradition!

I put up pictures of our circus day.

What’s going on?

July 31st, 2008

Well, a lot has been going on here at the Williams’ House. We had a great fourth of July. Branden and James drove Mayor Pamela in the parade and Garrett was very excited to see Jeep, Jeep in the parade. James and I took a lot if pictures, so be sure to check them out. We are very happy that this has become a tradition for our little family.

We are very excited that we are going to add a little girl to our family. She is a very active butter bean, bouncing around inside of me all of the time. I’m not sure when she sleeps. I am feeling pretty good. The heat gets to me but that is manageable it does not help that I feel like I weigh 300 pounds. I am ready for the heat to be over. Time is flying by, she will be here in less than 20 weeks, EEK! There is so much left to do, I know it will all come together one way or another.

We have been running around all summer and really enjoy our family time at home. Hope everyone is getting time to relax this summer!

We are still here

June 26th, 2008

Okay, there is now way that I can catch you up on everything that has been going on here. So I will just hit the highlights. Garrett finished school and we both miss it. He loves to swim and we can’t keep him out of the swimming pool, he is turning into a little fish. We kept Abigail and Sydney for a week while their parents went to Mexico. Garrett had a great time with his cousins but was happy to have his house back. We have been spending a lot of time doing things indoors hiding from the heat.

My belly is getting big. I am bigger at this stage than I was when I was pregnant with G. I am in maternity clothes and there is no mistaking that I have a baby in my belly. We have been talking about the baby to Garrett but he won’t totally understand until the baby is here. He gives the belly hugs and kisses, it is very sweet. We find out what we are having in July and I can’t wait!

Garrett and I were at Costco today and I was looking at tank tops to work out in, since mine don’t fit anymore. Garrett asked why I needed new shirts and I told him that the baby is growing and my belly is getting bigger. A lady stopped to look at shirts beside us and G told her that Mama needs new shirts because her belly is getting big. He did not say anything about the baby, but she looked at me and smiled. I am just glad that he did not mention my expanding rear end.

*I have added lots of pictures to the gallery so check them out!*

Happy Birthday, Mama

May 7th, 2008

>мебеликомпютри втора употребаirthday was last week and it was a great day. The boys gave me a gift card for a spa day, which I can’t not wait to use. We went out and had a very nice dinner. James and Branden enjoyed a lovely bottle of wine while I had an ice cold glass of water. Yeah, whatever. It was officially my first 29th birthday. I still have not decided how many I will have, and I might change my mind a few times.

I am feeling a little better with the nausea. Either that or I am just getting used to it. The fatigue is still there and is worse midday and evening. Things are progressing a lot faster with this little butter bean than with Garrett. I can still button a few of my pants but not all. I am having to use the high tech hair band through the button loop method, at 10 weeks. Bring on the elastic waist bands.

Oh, I did find my keys. It took a little over a week but I found them and someone owes me a dollar.

Looking Back

April 23rd, 2008

Garrett and I were looking through our books of family photos the other day. He loves looking back at past events and seeing people that he knows. This usually prompts conversations about the particular event or person that he sees. He also likes watching videos on the computer of when he was a baby. He is still the funniest guy he knows.

He wanted to look at a book of when he was very small. I like to look back on those days when I could not think of him other than a baby. Then I went to sleep and some how he turned into a 3 year old little kid. It goes by so incredibly fast. We looked at pictures of his first holidays. He had so much fun! He was old enough to enjoy being surrounded by people who love him.

Then I thought about how the holidays this year are going to be. He is really into family gatherings and playing with all of the kids. Thanksgiving will be dramatically different this year. Our second child is due to be born November 30, 2008. I have a feeling that the baby will be here before the holiday. If not, I will be the one laying on the couch hoping that my water doesn’t break on a relatives furniture.

We are extremely happy that our family is growing. We have talked to Garrett about it but he won’t understand until I start getting bigger. I have been extremely nauseous and tired. This is completely different from when I was pregnant with Garrett. I will get through this and rally in the second trimester, I just know it!

Happy (Belated) Easter!

March 27th, 2008

Well, Easter has come and gone. We had a great time! Garrett partied all weekend. He had a party at school on Thursday, dinner and eggs at Nono and Pop’s house on Saturday, eggs at home Sunday morning, dinner and eggs at Mimi and Papa’s house on Sunday, and then eggs and friends on Monday at Jack’s house. Needless to say Garrett is a pro at hunting eggs.

There are pictures up of our Easter celebrations!

Tip of the Day

March 18th, 2008

According to Garrett, if you are in bed and hear thunder, just cover your head with your blanket and you won’t be scared.

He gave me this advice this morning when I went in to get him up on this rainy Tuesday. He also told me that the tree outside looks like the rain forest. software cartecasino pokervc pokerpoker no on line3c texas holdem pokergiochi 7 card studprobabilità pokerpoker texas holdem onlinepoker gamepoker in tourregole pokerstrep poker onlinetavoli da gioco pokerregole per giocare a poker, dove giocare a poker, giocare pokergratis giocare a poker onlineregolamento texas holdemsito pokerpoker per pctexas holdem gratispoker on line gratissiti poker onlinepoker pcstrip poker downloadpoker tournament softwaretornei pokerstreep poker on linestrip poker online gratis, poker gratis, casino poker gratisgioca poker online gratistexas holdem romatornei poker gratispoker gratis in italianopoker game gratisonline poker roompoker on line in italianotavoli multigiocatori pokerseven card studdownload giochipoker online osxgiochare omaha pokeronline poker tournamentomaha poker gratisgioca poker gratisgioca pokerpoker non onlinepoker heads up onlinegioco poker gratuitocarte da gioco pokergiochi texas holdem onlinegiochi internetitalian poker Not sure where he picked that one up.
